ヴァリアントのNohillコーチがMarve1獲得資金のために所属選手らに犠牲を強いたことに苦言を呈するAvast。
これはチーム運営の責任ではなく、Marve1を獲得するのであれば、自ら補強した5人もいるDPSの一人を削るべきであり、選手らに資金捻出を乞うべきではないとしている。
リポートによると、Marve1との契約にあたっては、選手コーチらが獲得資金を負担したとされている（関連記事）。

ヴァリアントはボストンから放出されたMarve1（メインタンク）と契約を交わす見込みとなった模様。
現在ヴァリアントはオフタンクのSasin一人でMTもカバーしているが、Haloによると、NohillコーチとチームメイトがMarve1のサラリーを負担する1ことで契約に漕ぎ着けたという。
ボストン退団時には、個人的に成長するため韓国に帰国するとのチーム発表が出されていた。

コンテンダーズNAのMaryville EsportsでプレーするIced（元American Tornadeo）が複数ソースから得た情報によると、次回のOW2 PVPベータテストでランクマッチが実装されることはないそうで、10月5日のリリースまで待つことになるとのこと。
