コンテンダーズEU第1週決勝で優勝したBritish Hurricaneは、試合中にDPSのDanneddが停電に見舞われていたことが明らかに。
Danneddは仕方なく弟とPCを担ぎ、歩いて15分の距離にあるまだ電力が稼働している母親の住居に向かい、なんとか試合に復帰することがてきたらしい。
その間、チームは対戦相手のShu’s Money Crew EUの了解を得てヘッドコーチのUnter（元オーストラリア代表）が代役でプレーしていたとのこと。
