日本代表のTa1yo選手が所属するThird ImpactがコンテンダーズNA第2週決勝でKarasunoを破り見事優勝。
試合はTa1yoマクリーの活躍もあり3-0のスイープ。これでチームはシーズン1のポイント争いでも2位に浮上。
今季のコンテンダーズは毎週開催されるトーナメントの合計ポイント上位8チームがプレーオフに進出しグランドファイナルを争うことになる。
