既に3選手ともにオプション放棄にともないFAとなっていたが、後釜としてJerryが加入したStitchを除くと、残り2人の退団はやや意外といえる。

Stitchは今年5月にヴァンクーバーから2週間の短期契約を経て正式に加入。ポストシーズンでは才能が開花したアッシュでチームの快進撃に貢献している。
同じくJjanuもヴァンクーバーから短期契約で加入し、Decayパッチで猛威を奮ったロードホッグを使いプレーオフを荒らし回っていた。
昨年オフにボストンから加入したAimgodは唯一のフレックスサポートとしてチームの躍進に貢献している。
これで今オフにワシントンを去った選手は5人となるが、Yiskaのリークによると、FAとなっているBebe、Closer、Riaと契約を交わしたと見られており、退団した選手らの補強を着々と進めている。
