VCT公式大会ではなく「YFP Winter Classic」というサードパーティ主催大会とのこと。
IceboxでのACSはCoreyの322に対してBabybayが84という圧倒的大差。試合は観てないため詳しいことは不明ながら、個人差以上にチームとしての差があったのかもしれない。
結局1ヶ月前のBlizzard Mike Yebara社長の「今後数週間のOWに乞うご期待」発言はなんだったのかという問題が依然redditでも燻っている。

ブルームバーグのリポーターとしてもお馴染みJason Schreier記者によると、Activisionは来年2023年に予定されていたTreyarchスタジオによるCall of Duty作品を次年に延期する模様。この20年ほどの間、CoDシリーズは毎年リリースされてきた。
この空白を埋めるのはやはりOW2なのかと思いきや、Activisionは来年に新たな無料のオンラインタイトル（Warzone 2との噂）を予定していると話す人々もいるとか。
