先日ストリーマーに転向したRyujehongが配信中の女性蔑視発言で韓国内外のフェミニストを中心に炎上している模様。
詳しいコメント内容については冒頭のツィートを参照1。どうも配信中は酒に酔っていたようで、ストリーマーとなり選手としての柵から解放されふっきれたのか必要以上に饒舌になってしまったのかもしれない。
現在は事実上の引退状態であるためリーグからの罰金などはないと思われるが、コンテンツクリエイターとして所属するGen. Gの対応にも注目が集まっている。

炎上後にJehong本人から出された謝罪コメント（英訳）。これによると、自身のコメントに不快な思いをしたファンに謝罪するとともに、選手時代とは違うストリーマーとしてのRyujehongも受け入れてほしいと理解を求めている。
